Until a month ago Netflix was a slam dunk, now with the way they’re heading I’m thinking twice about my subscription.

I have bought a roomba for my home and right now, despite the advertisements, it wan no good! In the advertisements they said it can charge itself, adn clean the home when you are out ,but the hose was not actually clean enough adn the robot could not find the plug to charge itself neither!!!!

My daughter would love the Roomba, I told her the other day she should invent a robot to clean her room.
The elliptical machine nope. It will be fun but after a while you would not want to see it. Walking weights are cheap and easy to fall back to,

Ellipticals are great! When I was in the gym everyday it was my machine of choice. I used to be a stairmaster & treadmill kind of guy, but the elliptical takes both of those and makes them into one great machine. When I’m on that thing its like sweatin’ to the oldies!

Good points, the selection of online video options are continuing to grow and other free outlets still exist. I orginally stated using NetFlix years ago when I was traveling each week and the functionality was great for cheap entertainment in a hotel room. I’ve since downsized my membership and may have to rethink the entire thing now that I’m traveling so much less.

Hey Dave -

I used to use netflix by justifying the need to stay on top of the entertainment industry I work in.

However it does add up and the service is good but not phenomenal. Besides, with more and more things going online people can watch films and TV for free – hulu.com, imdb.com, cbs.com, abc.com, nbc.com and so forth. At most they have to watch little 30 second ads.

Alternatively, there is the public library. I don’t know how it is everywhere else but LA has an excellent movie system with a TON of new films available to rent as well as classics, TV shows, etc. Might as well use it since you’re already paying for it through taxes.
