Going on 19 years and still happily married, let me share a secret or two:

Give her space. Telling her not to see friends so often, even male friends, will have negative impact.

Talk about your feelings. Tell her how you feel on a daily basis. If you feel jalous say it. If you feel sad, tell her, if you feel full of joy, tell her.

Talk about your hopes and dreams. She might actually share them, maybe over time. And she could be the one to help you reach your goals.

This advice has helped our marriage.

Thanks man, I appreciate that… families are quite unique but I value mine. As my wife and I get ready to start a family I hope we can impart these values to our future children.
