Return to Dukan… Again

Well darn it. I had another 2 full weeks logged and lost the file. In my frustration I got lazy and didn’t log last week… so 3 lost weeks. The bottom line is that there was some good and some bad in those days. Turns out getting back on track the second time is harder than getting on board the first time. I think it’s a little human nature. I know I can do it so I don’t buckle down. Turns out in my looking back I can say it was easy to stay on plan and lose the weight but distilling it down as such tends to ignore the times I skipped a catered lunch or shied away from particular resturants to reduce the risk of cheating. I need to redouble my resolve and keep with the morning workouts.

Monday, May 28
– Omlette, Dukan pancake, Coffee
– Protein smoothie
– 3 turkey burgers, yogurt, water
A decent workout today, some cardio and some weights. Did pretty good on the diet even though I was wrapping a long weekend.

Tuesday, May 29
– Dukan pancake, 4 mini fritattas, coffee
– 2 turkey burgers, string cheese, yogurt, water
– turkey burritos with low carb wraps, yogurt, red wine, and water
Worked out this morning, a little cardio, nothing intense but a slight step up from my previous morning routines. Small steps. Sure the red wine and burrito is not a classic pairing. The wine was actually after dinner and an effort to finish a bottle openned over the weekend.

Wednesday, May 30
– Dukan pancake, 4 mini fritattas, coffee
– turkey burrito leftover with low carb wrap, yogurt, and water
– Chicken kabobs, yogurt, water
Workout again this morning, cardio and weights… getting this morning routine back up and running.

Thursday, May 31
– Dukan pancake, 4 mini fritattas, coffee
– Chicken kabob leftovers, yogurt, water
– Pork chop, ginger salad, yogurt, water
Another light cardio session this morning.

Friday, June 1
– Dukan pancake, turkey sausage, coffee
– turkey burritto leftover with low carb wrap, yogurt, and water
– Roasted Chicken with Dukan friendly gravy, green beans, yogurt, and water

Saturday, June 2
– Dukan Pancake, Omelete, Coffee
– Protein Shake
– Stuffed Peppers, yogurt, water
Solid workout today with a more intense cardio and weight session. I also worked in the yard today for about 45 minutes.
